From the moment the mother's umbilical cord is cut, humans are incorporated into the world of time. As the second hand turns one by one, it creates minutes, and those minutes create hours, and those hours create our lives. There is no meaningless time because time moves while we are alive. As an artist, rather than thinking about horizontal time, I thought of it as a ring of trees that continues to rotate and build up. Those times are not forgotten over time, but are stories of life that are accumulated and created over time. The idea was to express the concept of accumulated time through repetitive stitches of needle and thread. As we live in the world, we have various relationships and experiences, and we grow by realizing and learning the necessary wisdom. Life is not as smooth as we think, and while experiencing the bitter taste of twists and turns, mistakes, regrets and frustrations here and there, we discover the joy and hope of positivity. I believe that the power and ability to find such positivity is wisdom.
I imprinted the words of wisdom contained in Proverbs into images and stamped each letter in the work with a stamp, attempting to directly remind viewers of the wisdom of life. Like the meaning of the proverb, which means a needle and a word, listening the words sometimes hurts like being pricked
by a needle, but my purpose is to convey a necessary message of wisdom to the viewer. Although the accumulation of time will already be left in the past, wisdom will become a positive energy that leads a new direction toward the future.

:A white wedding

In the invisible relationship, I attach the strings of different memories.
Countless stories (strings) made in my relationship
with others become memories in that much time.
My true indepentent life would have started with a white wedding.
Through marriage, the spouse becomes the leaf that enriches my life,
and the child becomes the branch that connects more relationships.
On May 2nd, 2003.
On a sunny afternoon full of colorful flowers, I married someone who loved me.
And it was also a day to declared a truly independent life
with the only one who has endlessly supported my soul.
The white wedding is a journey of life in which he and I are self-reliant.
